The theatre company I work for (I'm mainly a noiseboy, but rig lightig and followspot for these guys) have used Pearl 2004 consoles for quite a while. So, who has used one? How do we find it? It's been mentioned that it may be more of a theatre style desk than busking rock and roll, do people agree? Therefore, you do not need to purchase an AvoKey.There has been a little discussion on this desk within the PLASA thread, however I thought it now deserved its' own thread, particularly as they start to filter into the market. Tiger Touch II consoles (Serial 5001 and above) include a factory fitted AvoKey. Once you've received your AvoKey, you will be required to connect this directly to the available (Red) USB port inside the console (on the motherboard). Using 1x5 way to USB-A Cable included in your kit, connect your AvoKey to the motherboard.

Titan v11 and Ai v10 will run without an AvoKey and point versions have been released to ensure the software performs at optimum level. If you do not wish to upgrade your software, it is not compulsory.
